In March, Armcon attended the UK Concrete Show in Birmingham, an exciting opportunity to connect with industry professionals and showcase our latest innovations Over two days, we engaged with customers, discussed industry trends, and demonstrated the cutting-edge solutions we bring to the market One of the biggest draws to our stand was the Comet T24 Trailer Concrete Pump, which generated a huge amount of interest Visitors were keen to learn how this powerful and efficient pump could enhance their operation, offering a reliable and versatile solution for concrete placement. Alongside the Comet T24, we also showcased the ProAll/Reimer volumetric concrete mixer, giving attendees the chance to explore its advanced capabilities first-hand. Beyond the products, the event provided invaluable opportunities to exchange insights with fellow professionals.
Conversations covered everything from sustainable construction practices to emerging market demands, equipping us with fresh perspectives to continue developing solutions that meet the evolving needs of the industry. With such a positive response from attendees, the UK Concrete Show reinforced Armcon’s position at the forefront of innovation in volumetric mixing and concrete solutions We look forward to building on this momentum and bringing even more cutting-edge advancements to our customers
In the ever-evolving concrete industry, partnerships rooted in shared ambition and mutual trust are key to long-term success One such partnership is the one between Armcon and Forth Valley Concrete, a relationship that began over a decade ago and has flourished ever since It all started at the RWM Recycling Show in Birmingham, where Kenny first crossed paths with Derek McKay, Armcon’s Area Sales Manager for Northern UK and Scotland.
Initially drawn to our Armblock (concrete block moulds), Kenny saw potential in what these products could offer. But as conversations progressed and visits to Armcon’s facility followed including handson concrete training his interest grew beyond moulds and into the world of mobile volumetric concrete mixers
Recognising the business opportunity, Kenny took the leap and purchased a remanufactured Cementech volumetric mixer from Armcon.
This marked the start of an exciting journey for Forth Valley Concrete. Backed by the support and technical expertise of the Armcon team, Kenny steadily expanded his fleet, eventually adding additional mixers and a cement silo to the growing operation
Over the years, Forth Valley Concrete has evolved into a thriving enterprise with multiple locations across Airdrie, Falkirk, and Glasgow Today, the company runs a fleet of mobile volumetric mixers, including a standout Terex ProAll L8025 machine purchased to mark their 10-year anniversary in business.
We are proud to have supported Kenny and his son Matthew with the order of their Terex ProAll L8025 mixer, and it’s fantastic to see the innovative “drive-through, collect concrete” setup they’ve implemented at their Falkirk site This system not only adds efficiency but also reflects the forwardthinking mindset that has driven their success over the past decade This partnership is a testament to what can be achieved when great products meet great people At Armcon, we believe in building lasting relationships that go beyond sales we’re here to support our customers at every step of their journey.
To Kenny, Matthew, and the entire Forth Valley Concrete team—thank you for your continued trust and commitment. We’re proud to be part of your story and look forward to the next ten years of growth and innovation
