In simplistic terms, High Fashion or “Haute Couture” would be described as expensive, fashionable clothes produced by leading fashion houses and designers. However, it is much more than that. High fashion is authenticity and innovation at its finest. High fashion is taking luxury clothes and wear and making it your own. High fashion is an art in which designers and brands use materials, such as cotton, satin, silk, velvet, etc. as their canvases and their minds as their creative inspiration to make rememberable and one of only art for people to wear and/or to see. It’s the latest and most admired style in not only clothes, but behavior. High Fashion looks and styles are usually made custom tailored for the respective consumers. They also usually feature intricate designs and elaborate details. High fashion is confidence in yourself and what you put on. With so much hard work that goes into creating and designing high fashion pieces, once put onto a silhouette, it becomes effortless beauty and art. Essentially, High Fashion is effortless art that communicates one ’ s value, thoughts, creativeness, and style without having to say a word. It has the power to make consumers and observers feel something, whether it aids in our self expression or empowers us. High Fashion is always changing so overall, it serves as a prominent outlet in which one can showcase their artistry.

Law Roach lives by is authenticity. He stated that “Having a strong point of view when it comes to your style makes people feel like it's really you. People want to know everything about you," he continues. "They want to know what you're wearing and what you're eating, who you're dating and your skin care routine. What do you put in your hair? What vitamins do you take? So, it has to be authentic. Otherwise, people are not buying it, so you have to have a strong point of view”.
Law Roach styles many prominent celebrities like Zendaya, Kerry Washington, Venus Williams, Hunter Schafer, Celine Dion, Ariana Grande, etc. Zendaya, at the age of 14, became his first major client when he was in Los Angeles as a personal shopper. Since then, his clientele has increased to over 10 major celebrities.
I adore Law Roach’s work due to his rebranding power For Zendaya and Celine Dion, he was able to transform how they are viewed by the masses as being labeled as fashion icons. Specifically for his relationship with Zendaya, it was stated that they had a master plan to elevate her career through fashion, and he did that with Zendaya being the youngest person to win the CDFA Fashion Icon Award in 2021.

Lil Kim purple jumpsuit at the 1999 VMAs
She began working as a stylist at the age of 17 when she was still enrolled in high school. She was invited to a Jodeci music video set and suggested a styling idea for the group to the Uptown Records founder, which ended in the idea being accepted.
Hylton does not have a styling motto, but one of her great quotes would be “Trust that your creativity will lead you to a place worth”.
Some of her first clients came from Uptown Records and her most known work coming from her muses Lil Kim and Mary J Blige Other artists that Misa has styled includes Faith Evans, Aaliyah, Missy Elliot, 50 Cent, Mase, Terrence Howard, and more.
I adore Hylton’s work because her styling and designs were new and fresh, as she was big on innovation. She is also a risk taker with her looks, but she has that intuition of knowing what will work for her clients. She designed and styled Lil Kim’s iconic look at the 1999 VMAs and styled her “Crush on You” video as well. Lil Kim is known for bridging that gap between hip hop and fashion, and Misa was a big reason of that
Jahleel Weaver’s first styling job was for Vogue Italia, where he worked with Usher. After that, he began working as a freelance stylist alongside Mel Ottenburg, who worked as Rihanna’s stylist at the time As of 2014, Weaver has been Rihanna’s full time stylist and the creative director of her fashion house Fenty.
In relation to Rihanna's iconic maternity looks, they both shut down the idea of adding elastic to her looks per the suggestion of a tailor. Weaver stated that elastic dumbed everything down a notch. He went to state that "You want to feel as if you're not giving up quite yet".
Age: 35 Hometown: Maryland
I adore Jahleel Weaver’s work because I love everything Rihanna wears Her style has made her one of the biggest fashion icons, and everyone in fashion tends to be inspired by her and how daring she is when it comes to what she puts on. Over the years, it has always been refreshing to see the evolution of Rihanna’s style, and with her and Jahleel Weaver being in partnership for 8 years, they have been beating to their own drum of what to style her in, and the outcome is always successful.

You can expect to see a reoccurring trend of sheer, big bags, and cargo pants next year during this season. With the season change to warmer temperatures, people will look for clothing that will keep them cool, but chic. Comfortability will also play a big factor during the spring, as consumers are seeking more security and nonrestrictiveness in the pieces they wear and/or utilize.
