News from Fair f ield Park Lo wer School

Many o f us can remember the celebrations linked to the Ro yal family f rom our you th and this month has given the children at Fair f ield Park the oppor tunity to join the nation in celebrating the coronation o f King Charles III

Our celebrations included a whole school ar t project where children took the time to learn abou t their families and then created individual posters celebrating their family – f rom recipes, to flags, to stories passed do wn, the children have learnt a lo t abou t their heritage. We captured this learning on world maps too to see all the countries where pupils and their families come f rom. The celebrations continued with the Big FPLS Lunch, a whole school dance and learning abou t all the historic locations used in the Coronation. A rich and treasured experience for all.
