NEW A synthetic bi-phasic matrix for true bone regeneration EthOss® has been developed to work with the body’s natural healing by using biocompatible materials for true host bone regeneration. It is fully synthetic with no human or animal components and its unique formula creates an environment rich in phosphate and calcium ions, ideal for bone re-growth. It quickly converts to bone, with human biopsies typically showing 50% novo-bone at 12 weeks, and it is completely absorbed and replaced by new host bone over the course of treatment. Furthermore, its Calcium Sulphate content acts as a built-in barrier against soft tissue ingress, removing the need for an additional collagen membrane.
