We are proud to offer a variety of educational programs in several learning formats for our members, and aim to make training as convenient, timely, and cost effective as possible. What to Expect at an ABA Live Event ABA Live Events offer face-to-face interaction with an expert instructor, giving attendees the chance to ask questions and share ideas. ABA offers a variety of educational programs throughout the year, including seminars, schools, and conferences. We are committed to offering relevant and timely topics so that our members can have the most current information to implement in their institutions. When attending an ABA Live Event, you can expect: Relaxed environment. Don’t be intimidated! ABA Live Events are structured to make sure that you feel comfortable asking questions, meeting peers, and gaining professional skills. Group interaction. Training Online with ABA Webinars We live in a digital age, so why not engage in online learning opportunities? Webinars are a cost-effective professional development option that allows you to receive top-notch training without travel time and expense. With nearly 500 webinars to choose from throughout the year, you are sure to find a topic to meet your training needs. The ABA works with third-party webinar providers to ensure that the most timely topics are being addressed by experts from across the country. This delivery format combines two methods of communication: your phone and your computer. You may have an unlimited amount of listeners on one connection via speakerphone. The online presentation can be viewed on your office or home computer, or on your computer connected to an A/V projector in a conference room setting for multiple participants. Webinars are interactive—not just recorded instruction videos—so you can ask the educator questions to customize the experience. AmBA Training is a comprehensive source for training and education available through the American Bankers Association (AmBA), previously through the American Institute of Banking (AIB). All AmBA courses, certificates, diplomas and more are brought to you through the Arkansas Bankers Association, your Local AmBA Training Provider. Many courses meet the requirements of the Institute of Certified Bankers (ICB) for exams or continuing education credits.
