Several Changes In Key Roles
Tara Mallett is returning to First Community Bank as assistant vice president and secondary mortgage originator at the full-service branch located at 766 Harkrider Street in Conway. Mallett will be based at the new banking center, offering a modern and convenient location for customers.
In her role, Mallett will play a pivotal role in assisting potential borrowers with their loan applications, offering them education, advice, and guidance throughout the process.
"I am thrilled to rejoin the First Community Bank team and look forward to helping our customers achieve their homeownership goals," said Mallett.

Nyra Jenkins was promoted to the position of assistant vice president, trust and wealth management officer. Jenkins joined First Community Bank in 2021 as a trust administrator. In her new role, Jenkins is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers, providing them with personalized financial solutions to help them achieve their goals.
“I am blessed and honored to step into this role,” said Jenkins. “There is great satisfaction in taking care of our customers’ needs, and I strive to be trustworthy and honest with everyone. Trust is built with consistency, and I am happy to be here and blessed to work with some amazing co-workers. Jenkins brings a wealth of experience to her new position, with a total of nine years in the banking industry, including previous roles in accounts receivable, billing, and propane management. She holds a degree in accounting and business administration from Ozarka College and is currently pursuing certifications in trust administration through Cannon Financial Institute.
Veteran trust officer Sandy Irby will be consulting First Community Bank as a trust advisor. Irby has over 35 years of experience in community bank trust departments, with more than 25 years as a senior vice president managing trust and financial services divisions.
In her new advisory role, Irby will focus on trust business development, with a specific emphasis on client acquisition in the Mountain Home market. She will also assist bankers in identifying and referring trust and investment prospects.
“I am excited to join First Community Bank and contribute to its continued growth and success,” said Irby. “I look forward to leveraging my experience to serve the needs of customers in the Mountain Home area and beyond.”
Irby is a graduate of multiple Cannon trust schools and holds former designations as a Certified Trust & Financial Advisor and Certified Employee Benefit Specialist. She has served on the Arkansas Bankers Association Trust Committee and taught at the state trust school for several years.
