WHO IS SENJA? SENJA is a 3 girl-group band based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The 3 friends formed together as a group in Feburary 2018. It comprises of vocalist, Kasih, guitarist Myra and keyboardist Inarah. The girls thought that the name ‘SENJA’ ts them as senja, which translates to English means Twilight, is the time when they would usually meet up for band rehearsals and jamming sessions. The band kickstarted their career when playing their rst show together at Gaslight, Bukit Damansara. Prior to that, Myra and Inarah played music recreationally while Kasih used to perform solo in the scene. KASIH INARAH

While they are still guring out their band’s music style, the band describes their music style as ‘Mataharindie’ which is term they had came up with. They would give their own personal twist to a sound or genre and make it accessible alternative pop. In other words, they will not stop experimenting with their music and to be boxed in a particular genre.

The band shared their music through the music streaming platform Soundcloud where they would upload their demos and covers. Despite still emerging in the local music scene, they have garnered a number of fans; mostly from youngsters in town.
