ARI-HETRA’s MODEL HDML-AE-W is built on the same stout platform as our HDML-AE Model except that it has a carriage width of 27 in. and can handle oversized tires. This wide-body carriage engages tires on the vehicle while it sits flat on the ground. This eliminates the time required to elevate the tires when engaging with a standard carriage.

Technical Data ARI-HETRA adjustable lifting carriages are constructed in the USA and feature precision machined surfaces and stout locking pins. They are available in either 12 in. fork lengths for standard tire widths or 18 in. fork lengths for flotation tires. Forks adjust & lock for tire sizes from a 9 in. minimum to 27 in. maximum.

FORKLIFT LIFTING SYSTEM ARI-HETRA’s FL Lifting System uses a ramp and contact pad with two HDML-AE lifting posts* to gain access to the underside of short wheelbase industrial vehicles. Preventive maintenance, lubrication, repair and parts replacement are made easier and safer with the vehicle raised.

ARI-HETRA’s systems lift three or four-wheeled forklifts. Our FL Lifting Systems offer tremendous time savings over floor jacking or overhead cranes. When the job is finished, the FL system is loaded onto a storage cart and wheeled out of the way.

Safety The FL System features all the safety benefits of our HDML-AE posts (See page 6) as well as a non-skid rubber surface contact point and perforated traction ramps.

ARI-HETRA’s Model FL-3-4 Forklift Adapter is a mobile lifting system that, when used with two HDML-AE columns, provides easy undervehicle access for counterbalance lift trucks (four-wheel forklift).

Intended Use For use with four-wheel lift trucks with a wheelbase of 76 in. or less*. Maximum lifting capacity is limited to the lift truck’s wheel base. The forklift is driven onto platform ramps with the center of gravity over the center component (drive-over pads). Model HDMLAE then lifts the center component (drive-over pads) and the forklift to provide “stand-up” under-vehicle access.

ARI-HETRA’s Model WOD-25 Self-Evacuating Waste Oil Drain is a heavy-duty, portable waste oil drain that evacuates its 25 gallon capacity in less than 2 minutes without the use of a pump.

The WOD-25 features a large telescoping funnel with a full-extended height of 63 in. A separate dolly with swivel caster wheels make the unit easy to maneuver. The unit is simple to use. Make a camloc connection to the supplied hose on the waste oil bulk tank, then connect the air supply and the system does the rest. A unique floating ball check-valve is the heart of the system. It allows oil to enter, but seals the container for evacuation the moment air is connected.

Intended Use Clean and environmentally safe removal of waste engine oil, transmission and differential oil in vehicles being serviced on a lift.

Safety The WOD-25 represents a Safety First 200 PSI National Board certified container. The WOD-25 was the first to be used with an ASME coded tank. Low pressure operation is safeguarded with a preset tamper-proof air regulator and 30 PSI safety pop-off.

TELESCOPING EXTRACTION EXHAUST CANE MODEL 999-907 Versatile Exhaust Cane ARI-HETRA’s telescoping exhaust extraction cane is a versatile tool making heavy-duty exhaust extraction easy. The exhaust cane’s nozzle is customizable to meet the specifications of various sized and shaped exhaust systems, which include exhaust diffusers that are typically featured on trash trucks, motor coach exhausts that rest flat against the top of the bus, standard top stacks, and various other exhaust system designs. All Day, Everyday This tire changer has been designed as an ergonomic alternative to traditional methods of tire replacement by hand. BRAKE DISCS, DRUMS & FLYWHEEL LATHE MODEL WS-BL1500

ARI-HETRA’s Model WS-BL1500 Brake Lathe is designed to turn drums, rotors and flywheels of trucks, buses and light commercial vehicles. This lathe makes it possible to turn heavy-duty truck drums with dual-wheels and hubs still mounted. The lathe is equipped with a stout 50 mm diameter arbor shaft so no outboard support is necessary. The lathe works with a digital rheostat which allows continuous variation of the spindle’s revolutions. The speed of the spindle’s revolution can be adjusted at any time to react to the condition of the drum, rotor surface or the vibration level. With this feature, cutting time can be optimized without negative effects on the surface of the drum or rotor. This versatile machine can handle a number of different turning jobs from discs to drums.

ARI-HETRA’s Model WS-BL2000 Brake Lathe produces an evenly cut drum and is based on the latest brake lathe technology for heavy-duty equipment. The extra-large 60 mm diameter arbor and its oversized spindle damp all vibrations allowing it to work without the use of a tailstock to make the mounting procedure easier and quicker - even on dual wheels attached to the drum. Advanced functions include powered in/out and left/right table movement, continuous or intermittent variable feed in both working directions (to avoid a spiral effect) and spindle rotation controlled by an inverter which, in addition to giving a variable spindle speed, controls acceleration and deceleration - a useful function when turning something of heavy weight. Furthermore, the machine allows turning and grinding of tapered flywheel surfaces thanks to the special cutting adapter. The adjustable travel end stops on both tables, the welllocated and easy-to-use control panel and the tilt up safety guard are further elements that make the WS-BL2000 practical, reliable and safe.

Its front wheel dollies, adjustable press frame, and pneumatic lift and return stroke makes it easy to maneuver and set up around all potential obstacles. The KPP-143 has a responsive hand pump that drastically reduces risk of damage that could occur to the vehicle’s components.
