Saxdor Win Motor Boat Award

The Saxdor 320 GTO has been recognised at Motor Boat and Yachting’s Motor Boat Awards 2022 as outright winner in the Sports Boats over 30ft category.

On choosing the winner for this award, MBY’s Hugo Andreae said:

“We knew Saxdor was a force to be reckoned with the moment we tested its first boat, the 200 Sport in July 2020, but even we were taken aback by just how good the 320 GTO is. It seems to cram everything you would want from a sporty open day boat into a good looking 32ft package and then add a few bonus tricks of its own such as folding balconies, see- through bulwarks and a comfortable cuddy cabin with separate heads. The stepped hull delivers a smooth, predictable ride with plenty of performance on offer from single or twinengine options”.

Chris-Craft

Chris-Craft has acquired a 6-acre site in Sarasota, Florida in order to increase production with an additional manufacturing facility next to the current factory. American developer Ryan Companies US Inc. has been appointed by Chris-Craft to build a new 80,000 square-foot manufacturing site.

Palma International Boat Show 28 April – 1 May

Argo Yachting, along with sister company, Princess Motor Yacht Sales, enjoyed another fantastic boat show in Mallorca at Palma’s Moll Vell, with visitor numbers up by 30% on last year. The display included a Targa 38 and a Jeanneau Leader 30. New boats included the Saxdor 320 GTC and Saxdor 200 SPORT, with a Saxdor 320 GTO and Saxdor 200 SPORT on the marina for sea trial demos – enjoyed by customers and press alike. Princess Motor Yacht Sales displayed an exceptional Princess Y85, S66, V55 and F50.

‘It was an amazing show, with lots to see and it was very well attended. We had one of the most prominent stands there, displaying a broad spectrum of fabulous yachts. And the demos were a great way to meet and interact with more customers and get out on the water in the sunshine’, David Walder, General Sales Manager, Balearics. It’s estimated that the new production site will be completed later this year and is likely to welcome an additional 200 employees alongside the existing 20-acre site that currently employs more than 300 people.

The Pardo Yachts GT52 Global Launch

The World Première of the Pardo GT52 took place during a special three-day event, from 22nd – 24th April in Saint Tropez. The Pardo Yachts family shared the celebration with their dealer network, selected clients and international journalists. Together with the new Pardo GT52, for the first time in history, Pardo Yachts exhibited the entire range including the Pardo 38, Pardo 43, Pardo 50 and Endurance 60.

New Office in Puerto Portals

After more than 20 years, Princess Motor Yacht Sales and Argo Yachting, have invested approximately £100,000 to relocate to a brand-new building in Puerto Portals. This has doubled the interior space and outdoor terrace whilst also benefiting from the beautiful marina frontage. This is now the main sales hub for the Balearics, open 7 days a week at Edificio C5 Locales 103-104, 07181 Puerto Portals.

On Saturday 30th April, during the Palma International Boat Show, Argo Yachting and Princess Motor Yacht Sales invited customers to celebrate the opening of the new office in Mallorca’s stunning Puerto Portals. Over 80 guests enjoyed a fabulous balmy evening dancing to a fantastic DJ and saxophone duo.

New Office Opening in Swanwick

Premier Marinas have created a fantastic new dedicated sales pavilion at their Swanwick Marina near Southampton as part of the marina’s regeneration programme that will also include a new restaurant and berth holder’s lounge, attracting more customers and brands. Argo Yachting, along with sister company, Princess Motor Yacht Sales, are opening a new dual-branded office this summer to welcome customers.

Marlin Marine

In December 2021, Marlin Marine Services, a specialist superyacht servicing company, joined Argo Yachting and Princess Motor Yacht Sales in the Balearics. The acquisition of Marlin Marine Services brings together three businesses in the Balearics which all share the same commitment to customer service, while extending and strengthening each of their areas of expertise.
