Texture et Surface. À leur intersection se concentrent les grandes innovations de la peinture abstraite d’après-guerre. Matériaux atypiques, gestualité expressive, surfaces maltraitées … Rien ne limite les artistes qui ont défini leur singularité en inventant un nouveau langage artistique. Du 10 mars au 30 avril 2022, la galerie A&R Fleury présente Intersections, une exposition construite comme un dialogue entre les techniques développées par les artistes défendus par la galerie. Elle se concentre sur leurs recherches constantes d’innovations à travers la matérialité, par des effets de texture ou de surface.
Texture and Surface. The great innovations of post-war abstract painting are concentrated at their intersection. Atypical materials, expressive gestures, mistreated surfaces, etc. The artists who defined their singularity by inventing a new artistic language knew no limits. From March 10th to April 30th, 2022, the Galerie A&R Fleury presents Intersections, an exhibition designed as a dialogue between the techniques developed by the gallery’s artists. It focuses on their constant search for innovation through materiality, by means of textural or surface effects. 15
