Page 1

Welcome

back to Worcester Racecourse, the Home of Summer Jumps Racing!

From the whole team, we wish you a very warm welcome to everyone who is here with us; good luck to you all and we hope you have a great evening.

It is fantastic to have our gates back opener and horses back racing. We have been working hard over the Winter and have some fantastic upgrades for you this Summer

A few things to enjoy here with us now is our luxurious paddock lawn where you can grab a seat and soak up the atmosphere within the Country enclosure. Partnering with Purple Granite, you can now also win prizes by scanning the QR code you will find on site. Those who are looking to book a large party with us, take a look at our new Trackside Hospitality marquee which offer a much more exclusive offering to make your event with us extra special.

Within this race card, you will also see our new podcast which now has 3 episodes you can listen to on BBC Sounds. Our very own Operations Manager, Bryony Harris, has teamed up with Trevor Owens at BBC Hereford & Worcester with The Racing Pod which is aimed to be a lighthearted insight of what goes on here at Worcester Racecourse.

Today, we have been kindly supported by an array of sponsors. Special thanks to Purple Granite who is sponsoring our feature race, the Class 4 Handicap Chase. To name and thank our other sponsors today who are Ceri Innes- Parry, celebrating Rhys, her husbands, 60th birthday, Blackmores Contractors, DragonBet and Betting bet who are supporting us today of which we are truly thankful of; and wish you a fabulous day with us

Our first theme night is back by popular demand being Rum & Reggae on Friday 23rd May with one of the best Bob Marley Tributes around. We have just a few more places left in our restaurant, hospitality and also available races to sponsor for, so should you wish to make a day of it with us; please do get in touch with our team on 01905 25364 or info@worcester-racecourse.co.uk for more details. We race again in just a weeks time on Tuesday 13th May so hopefully we can welcome you back here then. Have a great day and good luck!
