Official Raceday Programme & Form Guide Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II 1926 - 2022 MON 12 SEP Official Raceday Programme & Form Guide

WORCESTER RACECOURSE is part of Arena Racing Company which includes; Bath, Brighton, Chepstow, Doncaster, Ffos Las, Fontwell Park, Great Yarmouth, Hereford, Lingfield Park, Newcastle, Royal Windsor, Sedgefield, Southwell, Uttoxeter and Wolverhampton racecourses.

On behalf of Worcester Racecourse, I would like to express our deep sympathy to the His Majesty The King and Royal Family upon hearing the tragic news of the death of The Queen.

As we enter the latter part of our season, we have a good number of fixtures still to look forward to, including our next fixture the very popular Friday 23rd September and our Season Finale on Thursday 27th October.

It was a highlight of our season to see The Queen have a winner here with Steal A March in June, on her Platinum Jubilee Weekend, and will be a memory etched in many of our minds for some time.

We would like to thank our sponsors for their generous support of the racecourse and wish everybody an enjoyable day.

WELCOME & MEET THE TEAM

Most of all, we thank you for supporting us today. We do hope you will join us again at the home of Summer Jumping for our next meeting on Friday 23rd September.

A period of silence will be conducted at 12.45pm in memory of Queen Elizabeth ll, and we would invite you to gather around the Parade Ring for this time.

We offer a superb value package for advanced group bookings, hospitality boxes, marquee and restaurant facilities as well as a very versatile venue for non-race day events such as conferences, weddings and parties. Or why not consider the benefits of getting involved with the action on the track by sponsoring a race? Visit our website for full details on how to contact us (www.worcester-racecourse.co.uk).

Often referred to as the “life and soul of the party”, Ann embraced the fun in all that she did.

Ann was a lover of horses, taking her children on riding holidays. Later, when her son Anthony bought a racehorse, it was natural that she loved going to watch him race and visit the yard to see him train or feed him a carrot in the field.

Sorely missed by all who knew her, Ann will always be remembered with a fond smile
