A big thank you to all who attended our Midlands Grand National meeting 2 weeks ago. The day was a huge success all round and the feedback from our customers has been excellent. For that I would like to thank my hardworking and dedicated team on both sides of the running rail.
We added over 600 people onto the previous year’s gate, and we have now seen a 20% increase in attendance on the day over the last 2 years, which I believe is a great sign for the track, especially in a time where decreased attendances in racing has been in the spot light!
We now have a little break in racing and return in May for the start of our busy summer period We have some great entertainment lined up for some of our feature meetings. Kicking off on Saturday 3rd May for our 80’s raceday featuring the Staffordshire Plate.
Don’t rush home tonight as we have the ever-popular Radio Murphy to entertain you for an hour after racing in the Premier Bar where all customers can gain access after the last race
I do hope you have a wonderful day with us here today and thank you for attending.
Be Lucky!!

Cases can be made for several, but the suggestion is DOUBLE CLICK, who arrives on the back of a career-best effort after pulling clear with an unexposed winner at Ffos Las just over 7 weeks ago. He can regain the winning thread at the expense of Clondaw Royale, who has remained in from since his Haydock success back in December Party Business, Risk d’Argent and Paddy O’Mahler are just a handful of others to consider, too.

This has the look of a warm bumper. The Dan Skelton stable has mopped up in similar races this season so his debutant DOUBLE MEASURE is the suggestion before any betting clues are known. Last month’s Hereford 2-3 Emerald Warrior and Donttellyamumjack should figure, while the fact that Walk In The West went off at 4/1 for a 16-runner listed race on debut suggests he’s thought to be a lot better than he showed on that occasion.
