Also watch out for “Eddie the Eagle Edwards” who will be here doing a meet and mingle with the crowd. Eddie was an English ski-jumper and Olympian who in 1988 became the first competitor since 1928 to represent Great Britain in Olympic ski jumping, famously finishing last in the Normal Hill and Large Hill events. He held the British ski jumping record from 1988 to 2001. This evening we run two races dedicated to Lisa Oldham. Her family and friends join us today to remember her 10 years after her passing. The Lisa Oldham Bell rings across the parade ring at every race here as a signal for the jockeys to mount and also as a tribute to Lisa. After racing head down to the grandstand to watch the Martin Kemp DJ set. Martin will be playing a 90 minute set and I am sure will be great entertainment as always. Have a great night and good luck
