The second vet follows the action from the stands and coordinates the required response to any incidents In addition, throughout the meeting a close check is kept on all horses, especially those returning after a race It is standard policy that in the event of a horse requiring veterinary treatment whilst on site, screens will be erected around the horse It is designed to afford the vet and the patient some privacy Please do not assume the worst

RACE SUMMARY
PRINCE NABEEL ran as well as he’s ever done when fourth over C&D last week and the fitting of headgear can help him gain a breakthrough success. Glorious Angel produced a career-best win on only her fourth start for this yard over 6f on the same card and is the obvious threat under a penalty.

This looks a shrewd bit of placing from connections of WIN WIN POWER, who had plenty in hand when making a winning start for this yard here a fortnight ago and he should prove tough to beat kept to this company. Hannah’s Return has a tricky draw to overcome but she’s feared most having opened her account at Wolverhampton last month, with Breezyandbright and River Chorus another couple fancied to be in the mix.
