WELCOME
Welcome everyone today to Royal Windsor Racecourse for another very warm and exciting evening of Monday Night Racing! We had a truly wonderful day here on Saturday for Ladies Day, a crowd well in excess of 5000 were treated to a fantastic day’s racing in pretty hot conditions followed by an 80s Music night with a packed Paddock Lawn dancing away to all the old classic songs. It really was Royal Windsor Racecourse at its finest and most picturesque! Speaking of finest, there were some truly stunning outfits on display for Ladies Day, and special thanks to several local businesses for kindly donating prizes for our Style Awards Thank you to everyone who took part, I know the judges had a really tough time separating the finalists but congratulations in the end go to Charlie Stansby who won the 2025 Royal Windsor Racecourse Style Awards which included an overnight stay at the De Vere Beaumont Hotel, a bespoke hat from Butterfly Hats, a bottle of champagne and a bouquet of flowers
Turning to today’s racing, all eyes will be on Lequinto in the final race of the day after winning here last Monday and again on Saturday. I am not aware of any horse winning at Windsor three times in the space of a week, so I am sure there will be plenty of support for him to complete his Windsor hat-trick!
After racing today we have the Edwin Starr Band performing at Windsor for the first time on the main stage as part of the Soul & Motown theme for the night. They performed at Lingfield Park a few weeks ago to rave reviews, so we are excited to see them in action here this evening
Just as a reminder, there is no racing here at Windsor next Monday. I think all the team here are looking forward to a well-deserved break after 10 successive Mondays of racing I am immensely proud of the way the team has performed in recent weeks, particularly as we have several new team members, and hopefully everyone can re-charge their batteries for the remaining two months of the Flat season.
We look forward to hopefully seeing you back here on July 14th. Enjoy tonight in the meantime!

OFFICIAL BHA RATINGS EXPLAINED
The BHA Handicappers allot ratings to horses once they have taken part in a sufficient number of races to enable the Handicappers to make a numerical assessment of each horse’s ability.
The principal purpose of the ratings is to determine the weight to be carried by each runner in handicap races, with the Handicappers aiming to provide each participant with an equal chance based on its best recent form under its optimum conditions. A horse rated 100, for example, would be set to carry 1lb more than a horse rated 99 (ignoring any penalties or allowances).
The ratings published in the racecard for handicap races are the ratings that were used to calculate the weight to be carried by each horse, whilst in non-handicaps races the rating shown is that of each runner at the time that the entries for the race were confirmed Any subsequently published change to a rating, either up or down, is shown in brackets following the rating

The unexposed GARIBALDI MEMORY is given a chance to build on his improved runner-up effort at Leicester 16 days ago. Oisin Murphy gets the leg up on Dandy Khan who will be a danger if recapturing the form he showed when second over C&D at the beginning of May. Amathus should also have a say if putting his best foot forward.
