A wide-open contest with a chance taken on the returning KINGSTON SUNFLOWER. Fairly useful in her pomp over hurdles during her first stint with Fergal O’Brien, she has a race of this nature within grasp judged on the pick of her efforts last season and with fitness unlikely to be an issue returning from 14 months off, she’s of interest. Sneaky Blinder, Tara Iti, Sydney Seabreeze and 3-y-o Most Marvellous are others to consider

HORSE AND JOCKEY WELFARE AT BATH
Nothing matters more to us when racing than the safety and welfare of both horse and rider Central to that is the track itself and our groundstaff do everything in their power to provide an optimum racing surface. On duty todaywe also have a dedicated and experienced team of highly-qualifiedVets, Doctors and Paramedics following the action at every stage. Their key responsibility is to monitor and provide care to the competitors throughout theirtime at the racecourse. The locations andvehicle movements of these skilled specialists during racing are designed to provide a rapid response to anyincident across the site. We also have a high-specification horse ambulance in attendance at every fixture to enable safe transport of a horse from the track to our on-site veterinary treatment facility for further treatment, or to the nearest equine referral hospital.
It is our standard practice to erect screens around any horse or jockey requiring attention on the course as this provides privacy and a safe, calm environment in which to accurately diagnose and treat the patient as necessary Please do not assume the worst if screens are erected around a horse. We are fully committed to minimizing risk in our sport, to dealing professionally and efficiently with any injury, and to maintaining the highest possible quality of care for the horses and jockeys racing here today.
