She decided to branch out into acting and has since starred in movies such as Mad Max: Fury Road, Gods of Egypt, The Neon Demon, and Office Christmas Party

She’s also flexed her hosting muscles on several shows with MTV Australia. Rose is a warrior for LGBTQI+ rights and was honoured with the Stephen F. Kolzak Award in 2016 at the 27th annual GLAAD Media Awards.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: Sam has graced the pages of magazines such as Glamour, Vogue and Harper’s BAZAAR. In 2011, she was named a “young women’s fashion ambassador” for David Jones, and in 2015 she was a contestant on Dancing With the Stars. She’s not just a total babe, either – Sam uses her fame to help empower Indigenous Australians and raise money for her favourite charities.

HEARD SAYING: “Although I was very young at the time, I knew I would have the opportunity to meet the right people to help me fulfil my career aspirations.”

DYK? She appeared on the cover of Vogue at just 18, becoming only the second Indigenous model to do so.
