Next Sabbath, August 2, we will have a fellowship meal for our visitors.
GC Outreach and Prayer Supper: Help us share the Three Angels’ Messages by distributing The Great Controversy in our community Next Sabbath, August 2, join us from 3:30-5:30pm to hand out books, followed by a Prayer Supper at 6:00pm, where we will pray together and hear testimonies from volunteers about their canvassing experiences. Before distribution, we will provide maps, book packets, and a flyer with canvassing instructions. Please come wearing comfortable shoes, bring a bottle of water, and be ready for a meaningful afternoon of outreach and fellowship. For more information, contact David Ruiz.
Prayer Supper will be next Sabbath, August 2, at 6pm. Come join us for a supper you don’t have to cook, and be blessed by hearing how God has led in others’ lives. Everyone is invited, whether you feel comfortable praying out loud or not, as there will be no pressure to pray in front of others. We will also have a children’s activity during the prayer time. September 5-14 are the dates for the NC Mountain State Fair. Our Seventh-day Adventist community will once again be represented with a booth. Adventist churches within a 30 mile radius of the fairgrounds are especially represented, as well as our world church. With over 190,000 attending the fair annually, it is a wonderful evangelistic opportunity. Thank you for keeping this outreach in your prayers. There are many additional ways to help. Bags of Love will be having their second annual craft sale November 16th. We are looking for homemade craft items to sell. If you are willing to make crafts and donate for this ministry, please contact Kathy Herbert.
