ST. ANDREW’S HAS RAISED OVER $17.5 MILLION OF THE $21 MILLION NEEDED TO COMPLETE PHASE 1 OF OUR NEW LOWER SCHOOL CAMPUS.

“TOGETHER, WE CELEBRATE AN EXTRAORDINARY MOMENT IN THE LIFE OF ST. ANDREW’S EPISCOPAL SCHOOL, ONE MADE POSSIBLE BY THE GENEROSITY AND STEADFAST BELIEF OF OUR COMMUNITY.”

“Every gift to the Making the Way Campaign and the Annual Fund reflects a shared commitment to our mission and to the generations of students who will thrive in our new Lower School, strengthen our upper divisions, and carry forward our shared legacy. To those who have given so generously, we offer our heartfelt thanks; you are shaping St. Andrew’s future in profound ways. If you have not yet made a gift, your participation will strengthen the legacy, reputation, and promise of St. Andrew’s for decades to come.” STEPHANIE GARRIGA, ASSOCIATE HEAD OF SCHOOL FOR ADVANCEMENT AND COMMUNITY RELATIONS

BE A PART OF MAKING THE WAY Construction is underway on a new campus that will bring the Lower School’s facilities up to the standard of its programming. Making the Way is the largest fundraising effort in St. Andrew’s history, reinforcing the strength and spirit of our earliest entry point and the enduring value of a St. Andrew’s education. The campaign’s five-year pledge period allows donors to make a significant commitment to the campaign over time. Breaking the total gift down into smaller payments often helps donors realize a “stretch gift” is possible.

ST. ANDREW’S IS ALSO GRATEFUL FOR YEAR-END GIFTS TO THE ANNUAL FUND.

The Annual Fund benefits every student, at every grade level. Gifts to the Annual Fund provide unrestricted funds to support the full range of programs offered by the school. When unexpected challenges or promising opportunities arise, the Annual Fund allows St. Andrew’s to respond quickly and decisively.

Recent tax law changes make giving in 2025 more advantageous than waiting until 2026.

You will not only receive a charitable deduction for the amount of your gift, you’ll also remove unrealized capital gains – a tax liability when realized – from your balance sheet. YEAR-END GIVING STRATEGIES FOR ST. ANDREW’S DONORS

WRITE A CHECK TO ST. ANDREW’S INSTEAD OF THE MISSISSIPPI DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE

Make your gift before December 31, 2025 to count for this tax year.

The Mississippi Children’s Promise Act provides a dollar-for-dollar tax credit to businesses that give to a qualified Educational Services Charitable Organization (ESCO). St. Andrew’s Episcopal School is a qualified ESCO.

• If you’re near the threshold for itemizing deductions, consider “bunching” two to three years’ worth of giving into 2025 to exceed the standard deduction. You can always revert to smaller giving or other vehicles in subsequent years. • Consider leaving a lasting legacy through a planned gift. A planned gift is a charitable contribution made as part of your financial or estate plan, typically through a will, life insurance policy, or trust. In addition to offering tax benefits, a planned gift may allow you to leave a more substantial gift than might be possible from your regular income. • Many corporations and foundations offer matching gift programs that may allow you to double or even triple the amount of your contribution. Matching gift forms are typically available from company human resource offices.

Businesses must apply for the credit online and specify St. Andrew’s as the ESCO they wish to support. There is a statewide cap on the maximum for the program, as well as a cap on the total amount an ESCO can receive. Program allocations are on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Applications for the credit must be made on the official Mississippi Department of Revenue website. • Caps are met quickly, so plan to apply on January 5, 2026. • Scan the QR Code for instructions and a direct link to the MSDOR website. • For additional information, contact your tax professional, or Jasmine Johnson, St. Andrew’s Controller at johnsonja@gosaints.org.

MORE TAX-WISE WAYS TO GIVE GIVE “OFF YOUR BALANCE SHEET” WITH A DONOR-ADVISED FUND (DAF)

You can contribute to a DAF by December 31, 2025, claim the deduction in the 2025 tax year, and then direct grants to St. Andrew’s over time. This is an excellent way to make a meaningful impact while giving “off your balance sheet.” MINIMIZE ESTATE TAX EXPOSURE

Many families who aspire to generational wealth are revisiting wealth transfer strategies. Even after making substantial lifetime gifts to family, some still face estate tax exposure. You can bridge that gap and leave a lasting legacy at St. Andrew’s by incorporating charitable bequests or testamentary charitable lead trusts benefiting the school in your plans. • Donors can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution of up to $108K (infl. adj.) from their IRA towards their Required Minimum Distribution - and avoid taxes on that distribution.
