Welcome The Architect’s Newspaper welcomes you to TECH+ Forum and Expo as it returns to New York City for its third year. 2019 also brought the expansion of TECH+ to San Francisco and a Workplace morning forum.

TECH+ Expo explores the quantum leap of technology hitting Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Real Estate. Throughout the day, speakers will share with us the accelerating innovations that are forever changing these industries.

Kicking off the day is Keynote Dr. Andrea Chegut, research scientist and Director of MIT Real Estate Innovation Lab, part of MIT School of Architecture & Planning. Dr. Chegut’s team takes a multi-disciplinary perspective on innovations through the lens of design, planning, and economics, and to identify innovative products, processes, and technologies that enable better growth for the built environment.

Microsol Resources’ TechPerspectives Stage spotlights industry leaders who not only use these new technologies but also develop methodologies to re-shape the future of the built environment. Presenters come from throughout the AEC industries and include: HOK, Payette, Turner Construction, Kaiser Permanente, NYSERDA, M Moser, IBM, Thornton Tomasetti, SHoP, SOM and WeWork. We’ll hear unique perspectives from owners, designers, architects, engineers, educators, and other leaders who are reshaping how we build and experience our surroundings.
