Pollen-induced sneezes, leather jackets, and a renewed will to live have once again harkened the transition into spring, which means it’s time for a new edition of AN Interior Source Material.
The 2024 edition continues to sift through the latest collections and tradeshows to bring you the best interior products, curated by AN’s editors.
Three categories—Rest, Residential, and Work—organize the issue and highlight resources for residential, hospitality, and office spaces, respectively. Though a diverse amount of product typologies—lighting, acoustics, outdoor furniture, and more—and a range of established brands as well as independent companies make up the issue, one thing unites them all: graphic excitement. (Even the more playful design of the issue, courtesy of Maiarelli Studios, follows this same note.)
Each chapter trends toward the decorative be it through color, form, or texture. But aesthetics aren’t merely flashy—they perform double duty as both style statements and functional products. Throughout the issue we see manufacturers being bolder and brighter without sacrificing performance. The vivid hues and patterns — (yes, even some florals) are apt for spring. They reflect the certain optimism and joie de vivre that comes with the new season. Perhaps they’ll inspire interiors that evoke much the same.
