This June The Architect’s Newspaper will present Multi-Material Enclosures & Ventilated Facades of Atlanta. The conference, our first of the summer, is grounded in the city of Atlanta, and is co-chaired by HKS Director of Commercial, Atlanta, Shelby Morris. Although the Peach State will feature prominently within the program, the conference’s three panels will be relevant for the entire Southeast, and beyond. The topics respond to architecture’s increasing responsibility to address environmental and cladding conditions, all while maintaining aesthetic standards for both the client and general public. In particular, the panels will hone in on construction related to the exponentially expanding tech scene in Atlanta, innovative multi-material enclosures, and operable windows for facades. Attendees will be provided the opportunity to converse directly with the panelists throughout the day.
