00:/ (‘zero zero’) as an office is known for the experimental nature of its work. Yet in truth the office itself is a continuous experiment. Here we publish a social audit of our operations in 2011, laying bare some of those aspects of our work which are hidden, undeclared or unaccounted. We’d like to wholeheartedly thank all the friends, collaborators and stakeholders who made 2011 such a successful year. It is you to whom we consider ourselves accountable.

WikiHouse WikiHouse is an experimental open source construction set, the aim of which is to make it possible for almost anyone to design ‘download’ and print structures which can be assembled with minimal formal skill or training. The first prototype was built at the Gwangju Design Biennale in Korea.

Governance In 2011, 00:/ adopted an ownership and governance model which aims to democratise the long-term direction of the company. Voting shares accrue to members based on their years of experience and work. Even when they arrive and after they have left, members have a voice on the ‘board’.
