InMarchofthisyearhe organisedaschoolpresentationofaPassionPlay whichastoundinelydrewan audienceof12,000.Itsimmediatesuccessattracted considerablepresspublicity anditwasdubbedtheOberammergauofAustralia andwassubsequentlyincorporatedasanintegralpart oftheQueenslandCentenaryYearcelebrations.

ThefactisthatneithertheUnitedStatesnorthe SovietUnionislikelytosignthehumanrightscovenants,whicharenowbeingworkedoutintheAssembly,alsoconsiderablyweakenstheinterestand enthusiasmofthedelegates,Dr.Malikbelieves.
