Theenthusiasmofthe performancewassuchthat astheeveningwentonthe enjoymentincreased;one cannotspeakoftheevening withoutmentioningtheevidentpleasureandexcitementthatthechorusexperiencedinsingingthis tributetothestoryofthe Nativity.

Despitethedifficultyof someofthechorusworktherhythmsof"Allwelike sheephavegoneastray," gavethemalemembersof thechorussometrying moments-theoveralleffectandworkofthechorus wasatributetotheworkof Mr.CallawayandthecooperationoftheUniversity ChoralSociety.

VaticanCity,Dec.6.-Sovietclaimsthat religiousfreedomexistsintheU.S.S.R.becauseitisguaranteedbythat constitutionarefalse.

Suchclaimsopenlycontradict the"dramatic reality"oftheRed'spersecutionofreligion.
