ButmorerecentlyPersonhasforcedworkersto acceptascaleofwagesfarbelowtheincreasedcost ofliving,accordingtotheInternationalFederation ofFreeTradeUnions(whichembracesNorthand SouthAmerica).AccordingtotheBulletinofthis organisation,thepriestsofferedtheiraidtothe labourmovement.Peron,stungtothequick,"struck backwith customarymethodsofslander, innuendoes,persecutionandevenarrests.Andthis despitethatthepriests'aidwastobeinapurely moralandspiritualadvisorycapacity.
