Thatparadoxbestillustratesthesortofpeace GodhasinmindforHisfriends.Itwillrarelybe atranquillityofexternalthings.Indeed,themore closelyamanconformshiswholepersonalitytothe loveofGodthemorebitterislikelytobethe outwardcircumstanceofhislife.
Noristhismerelyamatterofdeductivereasoning. ItisacentralpartofaDivinepledge.

BATTLEFORTHEHOMEANDSCHOOL
TherearepointerswhichindicatethatPeronis aimingatamorepermanentholdonhisposition bythesecularisationoftheschoolsandbyexperimentationwithdivorce.Thosetwoavenues-the homeandtheschool-aretheprimarysourcesof formation,forgoodorforill.TheChurchhas recognisedthattruthfromthebeginning-andso, unhappily,haveherenemies.
Thebattleofourtimes,fortheheartsandminds ofmen,isjoined;ononesidearetheforcesof atheisticCommunismandagnosticsecularism;on theotherthefollowersoftotalChristianity.It wouldbestupidityonourpartnottorealisethat theseculareducationsystem,byitsavoidanceof God,perfectlypreparestheyoungforCommunism withitsdenialofGod.Agnosticismdividesfrom atheismbydegreeandnotbykind.
WhatisbeingattemptedinArgentinaishappeningalsoinBelgium,anothernationpredominantly Catholic.HeretheattackisnotfromaFascist dictatorbutfromaSocialist-Liberalgovernment. Butthethreatisfundamentallythesame-against theschools.
