IndirectApproach

Itisgoodtoseeinthis bookstimulatingdifferencesofopinionandvariations inthemannerofapproach. Theeditorisratherunfair intakingadvantageofhis positiontowritehisopinionsintothemidstofthe accountofMr.Santamaria's talk, particularlywhenthe editor'sopinionsarenot quiteinharmonywiththe HandbookoftheLegion.

Mr.Santamariastresses theimportanceoftheindirectapproachandtheLegion Handbookagreeswithhim thatthegreatestgoodaccomplishedbytheLegion willbedoneindirectly.

Thevalueofthiswork liesinthefactthatthetalks werenotgivenbyarmchairstrategists,butby peopleactuallyworkingand employingprovedmethods fortheconversionofnonCatholics.Ithighlightsthe wonderfulapostoliclabours oftheLegionofMary.The bookwillsoonbeavailable attheCatholiclibrary,and shouldbeofinterestto many.-Y.C.W.Chaplain.
