Thiswastheirsecondsuch bereavementwithintwoyears, forRev.MotherGenevieve hadbeenappointedin1952 followingtheunexpected. deathofRev,MotherM. Columbanusontheeveof herdeparturetoattenda GeneralChapteroftheConeregation. Rev.MotherGenevievewas anativeofMidieton.Co.

Inthechangesfollowinga GeneralChapterin1946 MotherGenevievewassentto CaliforniaasSuperiorof NazarethHouseinVanNuys. ThomasMoorewasanIrish ladwhobecamethedarling ofMayfairdrawingrooms andthecourtedfavoriteof Englisharistocracy.Hecapturedinwordsandsongall theflavorofhisnativecountry,broughttohislyricsa sentimentaltangthatmade themlong-livingfavorites.

MonsignorMossEntertains ChoristersAtNedlands

Tothankthechoirforthe magnificenteffortduringthe yearandespeciallyforthe beautifulmusicatMidnight Mass,MonsignorMossentertainedchoirmembersand menconnectedwithparish activitieslastSundaymorning.About30peoplewere present.

Monsignorexpressedhisgratitudetoeveryoneforthe assistanceintheconductof theparishduringtheyear, especiallythankingthechoir forthebeautifulanddevotionalmusic.
