Instead,thehumanapproachhasnowbeencast asideinfavourofthatunpredictableelement-the capacityofindustrytopay.Itisunderstandablethat theCourtmayhaveresenteditsstatusasarubberstampendorsingquarterlytheinexorablefindingsof theFederalstatistician.Butnowithasenteredupon asphereofincalculablecomplexitywhereinthereis noreasontosupposeitpossessesanyspecialcompetence.Briefly,thenewbasisfromwhichitisproposedtoassessthebasicwageisonewhichmight moreproperlyengagetheattentionoftheeconomist thanthelawyer,howevereminentinlaw.
AccordingtoCatholicsocialdoctrine,theemployerisboundinconsciencetopayhisemployeea wagewhichwillenablehimtoliveinfrugalcomfort.
