TerrificConfusion
SofarinCongressweek theProtestantshavemanagedtogetthemselves hopelesslyconfusedintheir attempt,intheirownwords, "toexplaintheissuesinvolved." InMonday's "DailyTelegraph"theRev. However,thefirstbig "show"oftheCongress reallycameontheSunday nightafterthefloodlighting oftheCathedral,towhichI haveearlierreferred.NobodyhadbeenurgedtoattendthesolemninaugurationoftheCongressonthat night,whichmadethehuge attendanceallthemoreremarkable.The"bignights" weretobeonWednesday andFridayattheShowgrounds,tobefollowedby thefinalprocessionthrough thecitystreetsontheafternoonofSunday,April19.
