Whenhesaidthat'the Movementsrequiredtheinterest,supportandencouragementofparents,Eugene Palswasverycorrect.Seeminglytoprovethislackof interest,thefollowingissue of"TheRecord"contained aletterfrom"Parent,"who soughtaregularweekly danceorganisedbytheMovements.Hadhe,orshe, takenthetrouble.tofindout, "Parent"wouldhaveknown ofthefirst-classdancesrun onalternateSaturdaynights, atSubiacoandHighgate.

TheDalysarelearning atfirsthandhowtobring upchildren-havingtwo sons,agedtwoyearsand eightmonths.Astoeducatingtheseoffspring,I quitebelievetheirY.C.W. andN.C.G.M.trainingwas complementarytothatreceivedintrulyChristian homesinwhichbothwere reared.

Sir,-Inanattemptat statingtheprimarypurposeoftheYouthmovements,we havebeenaccusedof "shruggingoff"thecharges madebyMr.O'Donnellthat theseorganisationslackin numbersandarenotselt supporting.
Contrarytotheopinionof Mr.O'Donnell,itisourbeliefthatthesemovements do"godeep,"andthatthe comparativelysmallnumberofactivemembersisbecausethisworkofChristianisingsocietycallsfor sacrifice.Ifhehasread, suchbooksas"PriestWorkmaninGermany"or"FishersofMen,"Mr.O'Donnell willknowthedepthand spiritoftheJocistsystem.
