God'sProvidence KeytoPopulation

AtlastanationalperiodicalhaspublishedanauthoritativeanswertotheMalthusians,Sangerites,and otherprofessional''calamityhowlers"whosee"overpopulation"asthegreat threattotheworld. Dr. -JosuedeCastro,chairman ofthepolicy-makingexecutivecommitteeoftheUnitedNationsFoodandAgriculturalOrganisation,inan articlein"Collier's"(Jan. 19,1952)presentsanew slantonthequestion.He turnstheproblem,solong stoodonitshead,backon itsfeet,andgivesusarealisticlookatit.
