Itiswrongtoidentifysainthoodwithausftritiesoflife.ThosearemerelyaidswhichSOME saintsusedtoachievetheirgoal.Theyareaccidentals.notessentials.Butsinceallofusin everystationoflifearecalledbyGodtohesaints. wemusthavethemeansathandtoachievethat goal.Thatgoalcanheachievednotonlyinthe extraordinarybutintheordinarythingsoflife.As onewriterputsit,webecomesaintsby"doingthe ordinarythingsoflife,extraordinarilywell."It simplymeansbeingagoodfather,mother,son,or daughter.Itmeansbeingfaithfultothedutycalledforbyourvocation,beitsingleormarried.
