WhyistheCatholicChurchopposedto Socialism?

However, theword"Socialism"is hereusedtodesignatethatsystemof socialandeconomicorganisationin whichtheStatebecomesthesoleowner ofallthesourcesofproductionand meansofdistribution, andthereby sumestoitselfadespoticcontroloftne chiefactivitiesofhumanlife.

Fromtheseprinciplesitfollowsthat dutiesandrightsinregardtofamily andcountry,andeventoGodHimself, ceasetohaveanymeaning.
