Curiouslyenough.Mr.Asquithseems tobeunconsciousthathisLiberal Governmentwasaclassaffair.He saidinhisspeech:"Itisnotupon linesofclassdivision,butuponthe linesoftheoldLiberalcreed,withno class,beitsmallorgreat,beitrich orlessendowedwiththecomfortsand luxuriesoflife,thatthefutureofthe countrymustproceed."Yethehad onlytoscantherecordofhisownten years'Premiershiptoseehowfullyhis performancebeliedhisbeliefs.What didheeverdo,say,toendourantiquatedsystemoflandlordism?-Universe.
