RemedyforWarts

Thefollowingremedyforwartsis saidtoherseffectualinremoving wartsfromtheteatsofthecowsas fromthehandsofhumanbeings:Commonsoda,dissolvedinwater,as muchsodaaswaterwilldissolve, appliedtwoorthreetimesaweek, oroftener,ifdesired.Thewartswill begintoscaleoffinthreeorfour days.Keepupthearreicationsand thewartwillgraduallydisappear. Kerosenewillaecomplishthesame result.

HousekeepingHints

Don'tusesodaforwashingchina withgillorit.Ifeoudothegiltwill graduallydisappear.Useagood yellowsoapasacleansingagentand noharmwillbedone.

Whenputtingboilingjamintoglass jarsdipateaclothincoldwater, thenfolditlengthwiseandstandthe glassjarsonit.Nextpoorthe boilingjamintothem,andletstand afewminutes. ThiswillPrevent themfromcracking.

Pancakes:HowtoMakeThem

S.duo'sgreatHomeRulemeeting whichwasheldintheTownHallop Thursdayeveaitg,March7th,created morerecordsthanone.Itwasby farthelargestmeetingheldinSedna.ToonHall,anditbecameresponsibleforSislso,thebiggestsum yetsulescribedataHomeRulemeeting.

IsaetothosenotofIrishextractionorassaciatonthat,notmerely justice,butself-interestdemands thattheyshouldtakeanintesestin thepresentconditionofIreland.A blowstruckonbehalfofIrishlibertyisablowstric:forcivilisation, progressandhumanityinallparts cftheworld; itisalsoablow struckforthee(ensolidationandthe strengtheningoftheBritish Empire.(Apnlause.)Andthatisth teatimewhyyoureoungCommonwealtie ParliamentandtheDominionParliamentofCanadahavePassedresolutionsbeforenowplacinguponrecord theirbeliefinHomeRuleferIreland, andcallinguponthelmsterial.Parliamenttograntit.APplarsesNow, onthegreat,broadprincipleetatir hetetteovereoursSees,thereisno longeranydifferenceofoeinionor suspretimenepessible,forthatPrinciplehesbeenreeteeilisedthroughout theEmpire.Igofarther.Isay itisthePrinciple(uponwhichthe foundationsoftheNmpirehavebeen laid.Thereareto-daynofewerthan (went.-sevenHomeRuleParliaments inthe oftheEmpire.Irelandistheonecoertrain habitedby.whitePeopleunderthe flagte-daywhorethereisnotnationalself-governmenttohefound, andnoteventheworstenemy of HomeRulecanPointtoonesingle instancewheretheexperiment ,f HomeRulehasProvedafailure. (APPlause.)Yes,andtheoneinstance whereitisdeniedto-dayisthone instancewheretherehasbeenfailure withintheEmpire.Whiletherest oftheEmpirehasProgressedin wealth,population,industryandresources,Irelandalonehasdecayed anddeclined.Inseventyeearsshe haslostmorethenone-halfofher population,whichhasdronedfrom closeonninemillionstolessthin fourandahalfmillions.
