Thebride,(whoisawell-known ChildofMary,attachedtotheCathedralParish,andalsoamember ofSacredHeartSodality,andAltar Society),wasgivenawaybyMr. Maloney, andlookedcharmingly gracefulinagownofivorycharmeusesatindaintilytrimmedwith silverlace.Theusualwreathand veilwereworn,andalovelyshower bouquetwascarried.MissHolloway andMissFanniePerkinwerebridesmaids,theformerwearingapretty frockofcreamvoile,andthelatter adaintilyworkedIndianmuslin. Mr.Douglasactedasbestman.Aftertheceremonythebridalparty drovetotheresidenceofMrs.Lloyd wheretheweddingteawasheldand theusualtoastshonoured.

Thebridegroom'spresenttothe brideweresilver-backedbrushesand combincase,andthebride'spresenttobridegroom,goldsleevelinks. Thebridewastherecipientofmany valuableandusefulpresents.

The SpecialBusinessnextmeetingisParliamentaryElections.Asthereare manybuddingpoliticiansintheSociety,itisconfidentlyexpected,that somerealfightingspeecheswillbe made.
