Thefirstdeputationwasfromthe EastMurchisonRailwayAssociation, askingthatthelinetoLawlersbe PlacedontheGovernmentprogrammefortheforthcomingsession, andthattheextensionbefromLeonera.

Mr.Wilsonsaidthathewas in fullsympathywiththeirrequest. Althoughhecouldnotdefinitelypromisethatthelinewouldbeauthorisedthissession,hewould,onhis returntoPerth,Putthepermanent surveyinhandfrombothendsif possible,butcertainlyfromtheLeonoraend. Hepromisedtoa-gain bringthematterbeforetheGovernmentonthereturnofthePremier, andhehadnodoubtitsconstruction wouldbeproceededwithattheearliestpossibledate.

Theotherdeputationwasfromthe LawlersRoadsBoardrequestingthat thewishofSandstoneresidentsas totheremovaloftheWardenfrom Lawlersberefused,andthatthe headquartersofthatofficialremainasatpresent.
