Ontheoccasionoftherecent "LanguageWeek,"celebrationsheld inDublin,resolutionswerePassed, whichwillbereadwithinterestbs Irishmenespeciallythosewhoaronot intouchwiththeGaelicMovement, andwill,itistobehoped,remove manyfalseimpressions,createdby enemiesofthemovement,fromthe mindsoftheuniniated.Sincethe tightforessentialIrishinthenew Universitywasbegun,falseimpressionshavemultiplied,somuchso, thatIhaveheardIrishnationalists stigmatiseGaelicLeaguersas"coercionists,"and"pettytsrants,"but aftertherecentAll-Irelanddemonstration,thesetermscannotbeape pliedtoGaelicLeaguersalone,for wereadthat"delegatesfromhun dredsofpublicbodies,including mansCountyCouncils,andtwocity corporations,"werepresentonthat occasion,andthattheprocession waswitnessedbytoo,000,ormore, spectators,wholinedthecircuitous route,andfilledthewindowsfrom Stephen'sGreentoO'Connell-street.
Thevoiceofthemeeting,therefore wasnotonlythevoiceoftheGaelicLeague,butthatofunitedIreland-unitedatleastastothemannerinwhichyoungIrelandshall heedtcated.
