ThefinalcontestfortheMunstet HurlingChampionshipfor1909betweenCorkandTipperarywasdecidedatTipperaryonSundaeandresultedinawinforTipperary by foureointsafteramemorablecontest.Theeeatattractedane.nermousattendance,threebands accompanyingtheThurlescrowd.The fieldaccommodationwastaxedto itsutmostcapacity',theleastcomputationofthenumberofspectatorsbeingfrom8,000to10,000.
