Who can lend covent a German uniform!
.o0
A mong the many entries for the junior and intermediate sections of the W.A. Catholic Schools Drama country from Festival schools is St. Joseph's Convent at Busselton. Their play is scheduled for August 17 and they urgently need a German World War II uniform (or near resemblance) on loan. Anyone who can help should get in touch with the Sisters at Busselton. The increasing number of entries in the festival, now in its 14th year, have forced the Therry Society, organisers of the festival, to divide it into three sections. The senior festival, held in May, was a resounding success. The remaining two sections are to be held from August 10 to August 18. Of the 24 plays entered in these two sections, eight are from country centres. This festival, which includes many original musicals, will be held at St. Mary's Hall, Oxford Street, Leederville commencing at 8 o'clock each night.

still forms. They had hope perhaps the apostles were still alive. Eagerly these good frineds set to work to revive them. Paul and Barnabas thus opened their eyes in the midst of a circle of anxious and compassionate faces, those of the new Christians who had already begun to practise their great Faith. Tenderly cared for, the Apostles recovered quickly in spite of the harsh treatment the pagans had given them. The next day saw Paul and Barnabas tramping the long road to the next city. They were aching in every muscle, but full ot hopes for more converts received they -- and them. After all, wasn't it likely that God would be generous with those who had been generous in doing what He wished? Four years is a long time, especially if you pack as much as you can into each moment, trying to do everything in the best way possible for God. So it was with Paul and Barnabas. They had done so much for the young Church in those years — more than most men do in a lifetime. Now, Paul's first missionary journey was ending. The apostles returned to Antioch, anxious to tell their old friends of the many conversions they had made in Asia.
