Itseemedtomethattheyoung workerscouldbedividedinto twogroups;thosewhothought aboutlifeandthosewhodidn't.
Tothosewhodidn'tthink,life presentednoproblems;tothose whodid,lifewasahopeless puzzle. Ihadthegreatestdifficultyin prayingduringthetimeIworked.Itwasonlyonthethird nightthatIrememberedGod's presence,andIhadhadfive year'straininginthespiritual life.Cominghomefromwork completelyexhausted,Ihadto forcemyselftosaymyprayers beforegoingoffintoadeadsleep.
Gettingup,itwasjustashard tomakeanofferingofmyself.
Inmyestimation,anyworker whodidthiswouldbeahero. Butthen,withoutthisnourishment,hisspirituallifewould beinjeopardy.
