WhO am I? I am a senior professional architect, PMP certified, and project engineering manager with 2 Master’s degrees in architecture (Academic degree) & Global BIM management (Professional degree). My professional career is balanced between design/construction with local/ international experience.

As a design architect, I worked with world-class, award-winning architects like Dr. Rasem Badran and Wael Almasri, where I participated in submitting winning internation al competitions. Moreover, I have successfully del ivered many projects at different design stages (from concept to technical drawings) and of different types, including and not limited to mixed-use buildings, commercial, governmental, residential, hotel, and master planning .

In constr uction, I played a key role in delivering one of the biggest and most luxurious multi-million projects in Algeria as the head of the architecture and engineering department. My academic background as a student in Master’s programs and working as a part-time lecturer in Jordanian universities and Jordan Engineers Associations gave me the knowledge and confidence to mentor & lead young architects and engineer s to deliver projects successfully.

My Master’s in Global BIM Management provided me with an extensaive knowledge on BIM standards and approaches, BIM implementation, interoperability, and openBIM mindset. I participated in various application of BIM uses like 4D, 5D, 6D, and the pre-paration of BIM documents (EIR, BEP, COBie..etc.) and other exchange models like the PIM & AIM for the different project lifecycle.

The Master’s in Global BIM management is a program offered

by Zigurat Global Institute of Technology in collaboration with the University of Barcelona. It is a professional degree that offers students the methodology, tools, and competencies necessary for BIM implementation.

The WeZig office building, is the pilot project. It is a modern design building set up by an envelope made of an interesting curtain wall combined with a core tower, nine above-ground stories, a basement, and a total gross area of approximately 2600 sqm. The building is distinguished by its extreme cantilever, which protects the main entrance and generates a shading public area.

It is a real-life construction project simulation where the master’s students applied the acquired knowledge in BIM in four different project stages; Management, Design, Construction, and Handover, Closeout, & Operation.
