Marking four decades since his debut exhibition in 1986, these recent works balance the emotional depth of his early influences with a contemporary sensibility. This new collection displays the confidence and assurance of a mature artist who remains active, inquisitive, and dedicated to refining his practice. Liepke continues to expand his distinctive style while maintaining the complex emotional underpinnings essential to his body of work.
In these canvases, humanity remains at the epicenter. While his style has evolved over the last 40 years, the viewer is reminded that however much things change, the core of the human experience remains the same.
