ROSEMARY ROOSA
Gentle Lady Rosemary Roosa, Gulf Coast Chapter, takes you to the moon and back, and all over the world, in her adventurous and entertaining book called To the Moon: An Autobiography of an Apollo Astronaut’s Daughter. Available on Amazon and Kindle. Rosemary writes about growing up in the space race, while captivating the reader in tales of travel, love, change, and how every once in a while only a glass of champagne will do. The book is endorsed by Apollo astronauts and has received 5-star reviews. Her father was Apollo 14 Astronaut Stu Roosa, who took tree seeds on his mission in honor of his smoke-jumping days with the Forest Service. After germination on earth, the trees were affectionately dubbed “moon trees.” Rosemary is also the President of the Moon Tree Foundation and has a mission of planting 50 moon trees during the 50th anniversaries of the Apollo Program. For more information about planting a moon tree in your local area or with your KOV chapter for a magical moon event, contact Rosemary at RoosaR14@ aol.com. Cheers and To the Moon!
