an exploration of negative space and celestial bodies.

TAKEN-SPACE is a collection that takes clean silhouettes and plays upon a simple color palette.

Tricks are played on the eye about what shape truly is and it’s meaning.

Rings mimicing those on far away planets takes shape beyond the body and into the space around it.

sarees are a staple garment worn by desi women

for centuries.

worn for all occasians and once they are too worn, they are repurposed, sarees are repurposed into blankets, swaddles, and household linens.

Re-Bari repurposes old and well loved sarees into new garments that take inspiration from western silhouettes.

for always believing in me and providing support when I needed it most my partner: Julio Fernandez for being my rock every single day of college, driving me to the fabric store when I needed materials for class, and supplying my Redbull addiction my best friend: Hailey Paris for cheering me on from over 600 miles away and always picking up my phone calls
