December 4-5, 2021 | Hilton Chicago, 720 Michigan Avenue
The 1st convention focused exclusively on the Illinois market! With the approval of the Illinois Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act in 2019, Illinois became the first state in the U.S. to legalize recreational marijuana sales through legislation rather than voter initiatives.
Vermont’s legislature allowed recreational usage but not sales (later legalizing sales after Illinois had already done so).
Illinois is estimated to produce between $2 and $4 billion in annual income from recreational sales if it reaches full maturity. Illinois will also expunge an estimated 700,000 marijuana-related police records and court convictions in a staged manner expected to be finished by 2025, making it the first state in the country to do so.
Since legalization, Illinois has seen an average monthly revenue of $40 million from recreational cannabis sales. Chicago hosts an impressive 44 cannabis dispensaries as of 2021.
NECANN is amped to help bring some of the best in the industry together in one place in the windy city.

NECANN has been developing resource hubs for the rapidly growing Cannabis industry since 2014. Engaging, learning, and expanding market opportunities for entrepreneurs, investors, educators, patients, advocates, and consumers. Our approach to individually produced conventions focused on the requirements and potential of each local market are a superior alternative to the generic national canna-convention franchises accessible everywhere. Rather than focusing on what the Cannabis Industry can do for us, NECANN takes a collaborative approach to each of our conventions, which has resulted in consistently high returns for exhibitors, sponsors, attendees, and the local cannabis market as a whole, allowing everyone to develop.
