Farewell Lunch for the Egyptian Ambassador

The Ambassador of Jordan, H.E. Ahed Sweidat, presented H.E. Ismail Khairat with a farewell gift on behalf of the Arab Ambassadors accredited to Greece
On 15th June 2022, the Dean of the Arab Ambassadors, Mr. Ahed Sweidat, Ambassador of Jordan, hosted a farewell lunch at Sabri Cuisine Restaurant, in honor of Ambassador Ismail Khairat, whose mission as Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, came to an end. The lunch was attended by Arab Ambassadors accredited to Greece and Chargés d’affaires, representatives of Arab Embassies, and the Secretary General of the Arab-Hellenic Chamber, Mr. Rashad Mabger.
During the lunch party, H.E. Sweidat, delivered a speech, on behalf of all the Arab Ambassadors accredited to Greece, in which he expressed the pleasure in building up friendships and cooperation with Ambassador Khairat and wished him the best of success in his future endeavors. The Dean of the Arab Ambassadors then presented him with a commemorative gift. In his turn, Ambassador Khairat thanked the Ambassadors for their kind gesture

and expressed his pleasure in having made new friends and hope that their paths will cross sometime in near future.
During his stay in Greece, Ambassador Khairat worked on all levels and exerted enormous effort to further enhance the historical and friendly relations between Egypt and Greece. We were privileged to have Ambassador Khairat as a keynote speaker in our last event held on June 1st, 2022, the Greek – Egyptian Business Gathering, which enjoyed a huge participation from Egypt and Greece.
We would like to seize this opportunity to wish H.E. Ismail Khairat all the best in his future endeavors and we look forward to meeting him again soon here, in Greece, or in Egypt.
